In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Cummins 5.9L, 6.7L, and ISX engines rely on precise monitoring of oil pressure to maintain optimal engine performance. The Engine Oil Pressure Sensor, OEM 4076930, is a key component in ensuring your engine operates safely by providing real-time data on oil pressure levels. With this critical information, your vehicle's systems can make necessary adjustments to prevent damage and keep the engine running smoothly.

Features of the Cummins Engine Oil Pressure Sensor OEM 4076930

Why Replace Your Oil Pressure Sensor with OEM 4076930?

Maintaining proper engine oil pressure is essential for keeping your Cummins engine running efficiently. Replacing a faulty sensor with the Cummins OEM 4076930 ensures that you receive accurate data on oil pressure, which is vital for avoiding costly repairs and ensuring the longevity of your engine.

Whether you’re managing a fleet or a single vehicle, using an OEM component like this sensor is key to keeping your engine in optimal condition. It provides peace of mind, knowing that your engine's vital systems are accurately monitored and protected.

The engine oil pressure sensor is a vital component that monitors oil pressure levels and ensures the engine receives proper lubrication. When the oil pressure sensor fails, it can lead to inaccurate readings and potential engine damage if not addressed promptly. Recognizing the symptoms of a bad oil pressure sensor is crucial for maintaining engine health and performance.

  • Erratic or Inaccurate Oil Pressure Gauge Readings

    • A faulty sensor can cause the oil pressure gauge to give inaccurate readings, such as fluctuating pressure levels or extreme high and low readings, even when the oil pressure is normal.

  • Oil Pressure Warning Light

    • One of the most common signs of a bad oil pressure sensor is the activation of the oil pressure warning light on the dashboard. This may happen even if the oil pressure is sufficient, signaling a sensor malfunction.

  • Engine Overheating

    • Inaccurate oil pressure readings can lead to overheating, as the sensor may fail to alert the driver of low oil pressure. Low oil pressure can result in poor lubrication, causing increased friction and heat in the engine.

  • Check Engine Light

    • A faulty oil pressure sensor can trigger the Check Engine Light as the vehicle’s diagnostics system detects irregularities in the oil pressure readings.

  • Poor Engine Performance

    • If the sensor fails to detect low oil pressure, the engine may suffer from inadequate lubrication, leading to rough idling, misfires, or knocking sounds due to increased wear on internal components.

  • Oil Leaks Around the Sensor

    • A damaged oil pressure sensor can cause oil leaks around its housing. If you notice oil leaking from this area, it could indicate that the sensor needs to be replaced.

Recognizing the symptoms of a bad engine oil pressure sensor—such as erratic gauge readings, warning lights, engine overheating, poor performance, and oil leaks—can help prevent serious engine damage. If you experience any of these issues, it’s important to have your oil pressure sensor inspected and replaced as soon as possible to ensure proper engine lubrication and performance. Regular maintenance and timely repairs can extend the life of your engine and prevent costly breakdowns.
