What parts are available on TamerX?

Many diesel fuel and emission parts, as well as sensors, ECM’s, gaskets for brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo, and more.

How can I find products online?

You can use the search function, or dropdown from the menu to search by Category, Brand, Part number or product name.

I can’t find the SKU I’m looking for. Now what?

Can I still order an item if it's on back-order?

You can order products that are currently not in stock. As soon as inventory is available, we will ship the product and complete your order.


My Account

Do I need an account to buy on TamerX?

You will not need an account to purchase from TamerX. However, you will need to create an account if you are a verified dealer, fleet or distributor. This will require a resale tax certificate and an actual business location. In order to open a line of credit, a credit application must be filled out and returned before approval. Those who wish to open an account must contact Daryl Torgerson either by email: [email protected] or call 843-933-3050 for assistance.
Note: Dealers cannot register online and must contact support directly in order to ensure correct pricing.

How do I set up or create an online account?

Creating an account is as simple. You may do so 2 ways, either begin at the top menu and click on Sign In there you will have the option to sign up for an account. For a business account please contact [email protected] or call 843-933-3050.

Can we place rush or emergency orders online?

We offer many different shipping options from next day, 2-day, 3-day, ground, please see details below under shipping. However, we know emergencies happen and we'll do our best to accommodate, in the case we don't have stock, or you need something rushed please call our support team at 843-933-3050 for assistance.

Can I change my “bill to” and “ship to” addresses?

Yes. You can do this by contacting customer service at 843-933-3050


Payment

How do I pay for online purchases?

We only accept major US Credit Cards: Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover. We do not accept foreign country credit cards.


Shipping

What is the turnaround time for parts purchased online?

When ordered before 4pm EST, Monday-Friday, most in stock items will ship the same business day. Orders requiring NEXT DAY must be placed before 2pm EST to guarantee it will go out. NEXT DAY orders placed on a Friday will be eceived on the following business day. We do not offer weekend shipments. Some heavy or oversized parts and back-ordered stock will take longer. Every online order summary will show available shipping options and related costs. From fast ship/expedited options (Air: Next Day, 2Day ,3Day) to UPS ground, you’ll be able to select the method that best suits your needs. Note some items due to hazard or weight can only be shipped ground. We only ship to the contiguous 48 states. Currently - Alaska, Hawaii or US territories are not eligible.

Can I track my shipments online?

When an item ships, you will receive an email with either a UPS or FedEx tracking number. You must log in to UPS or FedEx to track your orders and shipping status online.

Can products purchased online and picked up in store?

Pick up in store is available at our South Carolina distribution center. To see if an item is available at our DC, call customer service at 843-933-3050. Items purchased online will be ready for pick up within approximately 2 hours. Bring a printed or electronic copy of that email or your order confirmation when you come to the location. Orders not picked up within 5 days will be cancelled. Pick up questions should be directed to your local store.

Can I pick up in store on Saturday or Sunday?

Our stores are open for pickup on weekdays from Mon-Fri, 7am – 6pm.


Returns

Can we return parts purchased on TamerX? If so, is there a restocking fee?

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return products that: are in the original, untarnished packaging; contain original manufacturer documentation; are not used, installed, painted, or disassembled; are not damaged due to incorrect installation; do not have missing parts, hardware, or instructions. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% of the returned item. We do not pay for or reimburse the cost of shipping returns to our location.

How do customers process core returns?

If you would like to return an item associated with a core return value, it MUST be returned within 60 days of the invoice date. TamerX will supply a core return label if requested at the time of purchase.

Core returns must be accompanied by an invoice or sales order, as we cannot process a return without this documentation. Cores must be returned in the original packaging. If not returned in its original packaging, we cannot credit the core charge. The core will be inspected to determine if the core meets the Manufacturer’s eligibility requirements. If so, a credit will be applied to your account.

Cores can be:
• Dropped off at the distribution center. Navigate to the link on TamerX to see the location address.
• Shipped to TamerX Diesel, Attn: Core Returns, 3830 Hemingway Highway, Hemingway, SC 29554

Who can I contact if I’m having trouble online?

Email [email protected] or call Customer Support at 843-933-3050 to speak to a Customer Service Representative who will help resolve your issue. Our CSRs are available from 7:00am-6:00pm EST, M-F, excluding holidays.

What browsers and devices does the website support?

The website is best accessed using the Google Chrome web browser. It will also work on the latest versions of Safari, FireFox and Edge. The website will not work properly on internet Explorer, as it is not a supported browser. The website can be accessed from your desktop, tablet or phone.
