The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Exhaust Back Pressure (EBP) sensor plays a critical role in monitoring and regulating exhaust gas flow, helping to maintain engine efficiency and emissions control. The International Navistar DT466E, DT570 Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor 2004-2007: OEM 1850351C1 is specifically designed to ensure that your engine operates smoothly while meeting emission standards.

Key Features of the International Navistar EBP Sensor

  • Accurate Exhaust Pressure Monitoring
    • The OEM 1850351C1 sensor provides precise readings of exhaust back pressure, allowing the engine control module to make necessary adjustments for optimal engine performance.
  • OEM Quality and Fit
    •  As an original equipment manufacturer part, this sensor is designed to meet the specific requirements of International Navistar DT466E and DT570 engines, ensuring a perfect fit and reliable operation.
  • Supports Emissions Control
    • By regulating exhaust back pressure, the sensor helps reduce harmful emissions, keeping your vehicle compliant with environmental standards.
  • Prevents Engine Damage
    • Monitoring back pressure is essential for preventing engine issues such as excessive heat or pressure buildup, which can cause damage over time.

The International Navistar DT466E, DT570 Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor 2004-2007: OEM 1850351C1 is a vital component for ensuring the smooth operation of your engine and maintaining compliance with emission standards. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we provide high-quality OEM parts that help keep your engine running efficiently. Investing in this EBP sensor ensures your engine performs reliably, helping you avoid costly repairs and downtime.

The exhaust back pressure sensor is a key component in many diesel engines, helping monitor and regulate exhaust pressure to ensure optimal engine performance and emissions control. When this sensor fails, it can lead to a variety of engine problems and reduce the overall efficiency of your vehicle. Understanding what happens when an exhaust back pressure sensor malfunctions can help you address the issue before it leads to more serious damage.

  • Poor Engine Performance

    • A failing exhaust back pressure sensor can cause inaccurate readings, leading to improper adjustments in the exhaust system. This can result in sluggish acceleration, loss of power, and rough idling, as the engine struggles to maintain efficient performance.

  • Increased Emissions

    • When the sensor is unable to provide accurate data, it can lead to improper exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) function. This can increase harmful emissions, such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), which can cause your vehicle to fail emissions tests and contribute to environmental pollution.

  • Check Engine Light Activation

    • A failing exhaust back pressure sensor often triggers the Check Engine Light. The vehicle’s onboard diagnostic system may detect abnormal pressure levels, causing the light to activate and alert you to the issue.

  • Reduced Fuel Efficiency

    • Inaccurate exhaust pressure readings can cause the engine control module (ECM) to adjust fuel delivery inefficiently, leading to poor fuel economy. A malfunctioning sensor can cause your engine to burn more fuel than necessary.

  • Engine Overheating

    • A faulty exhaust back pressure sensor may cause the exhaust system to function improperly, leading to higher engine temperatures. Prolonged overheating can result in severe engine damage, including cracked components or a blown head gasket.

  • Increased Turbocharger Wear

    • If your vehicle is equipped with a turbocharger, a bad exhaust back pressure sensor can affect its performance. Incorrect exhaust pressure readings can cause the turbo to work harder than necessary, leading to premature wear and reduced lifespan.

When an exhaust back pressure sensor fails, it can lead to poor engine performance, increased emissions, reduced fuel efficiency, engine overheating, and potential damage to the turbocharger. Recognizing these symptoms early can help you prevent more significant problems and costly repairs. Regular maintenance and timely replacement of faulty components, such as the exhaust back pressure sensor, are essential for keeping your vehicle running efficiently and ensuring compliance with emissions standards.
