SHIPPING POLICY

Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Cummins ISX engine is known for its power and reliability, but it also depends on efficient emissions control systems to meet environmental regulations. One of the most important components in this system is the NOx Sensor (OEM 4326870RX), which helps monitor and manage nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. In this blog, we’ll discuss the role of the NOx sensor in keeping your Cummins ISX engine running efficiently while staying compliant with emissions standards.

Functions of the Cummins ISX NOx Sensor (OEM 4326870RX):

  • Monitors NOx Emissions

    • The NOx sensor tracks the levels of nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gases, providing real-time data to the engine control module (ECM). This allows the ECM to adjust engine parameters and reduce harmful emissions.

  • Ensures Compliance with Emissions Standards

    • With strict regulations in place for diesel engines, the NOx sensor plays a key role in ensuring your engine complies with environmental laws. The OEM 4326870RX sensor is specifically designed to help your Cummins ISX engine meet these standards.

  • Optimizes Fuel Efficiency

    • By providing accurate NOx measurements, the sensor enables the engine to adjust the air-fuel mixture for more efficient combustion. This leads to better fuel economy and lower operational costs.

  • Prevents Engine and Exhaust System Damage

    • A malfunctioning NOx sensor can cause incorrect engine adjustments, leading to potential issues like excessive exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). Using the OEM 4326870RX ensures proper sensor function, preventing long-term engine damage.

  • Designed for 2016 Cummins ISX Engines

    • The OEM 4326870RX NOx sensor is built to meet the exact specifications of 2016 Cummins ISX engines, ensuring proper fit and optimal performance.

The Cummins ISX NOx Sensor (OEM 4326870RX) is essential for managing emissions, improving fuel efficiency, and protecting your engine from potential damage. This sensor ensures your Cummins ISX engine remains compliant with emissions standards while operating efficiently. TamerX Diesel Parts offers the OEM 4326870RX, helping you maintain the performance and reliability of your engine.

The NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) sensor is a critical component in your vehicle's emissions system, designed to monitor and reduce harmful NOx emissions. If this sensor becomes faulty, it can lead to various engine and performance issues. While it may still be possible to drive with a faulty NOx sensor, doing so can cause long-term damage to your vehicle and the environment. In this blog, we’ll explore whether it’s safe to drive with a faulty NOx sensor and the potential risks involved.

Risks of Driving with a Faulty NOx Sensor:

  • Increased Emissions

    • A faulty NOx sensor can result in your vehicle releasing higher levels of harmful nitrogen oxides into the environment. This can lead to failed emissions tests and contribute to air pollution, potentially resulting in fines or penalties.

  • Reduced Engine Performance

    •  When the NOx sensor isn’t working correctly, your vehicle’s engine control unit (ECU) may struggle to regulate the air-fuel mixture properly. This can cause a noticeable drop in power, sluggish acceleration, and poor overall engine performance.

  • Poor Fuel Efficiency

    • A malfunctioning NOx sensor can lead to incorrect air-fuel ratio adjustments, causing your engine to burn more fuel than necessary. This results in lower fuel efficiency and increased trips to the gas station.

  • Triggered Check Engine Light

    •  A bad NOx sensor will likely trigger the check engine light on your dashboard. Ignoring this warning can cause other engine components to degrade over time, leading to more extensive and expensive repairs.

  • Potential for Engine Damage

    •  If the sensor fails completely, it could cause the vehicle to run in a “limp mode,” limiting engine performance to prevent further damage. Prolonged driving with this condition can cause serious engine issues and costly repairs.

While you may be able to drive with a faulty NOx sensor, it is not advisable due to the potential risks. Increased emissions, reduced engine performance, and the possibility of long-term damage make it important to address this issue promptly. If your NOx sensor fails, getting it inspected and replaced as soon as possible will help maintain your vehicle’s efficiency and compliance with emissions standards.
