The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The engine oil pump is a critical component that ensures the proper circulation of oil throughout the engine. For Volvo D13 engines from 2008-2016, the oil pump (OEM 20824906) plays an essential role in maintaining engine health by providing continuous lubrication to all moving parts. In this blog, we’ll discuss the function of the Volvo D13 engine oil pump and why it’s essential to your engine’s long-term performance.

Key Functions of the Volvo D13 Engine Oil Pump (OEM 20824906):

  • Maintains Engine Lubrication

    • The oil pump ensures that engine oil is continuously circulated to all critical moving parts, reducing friction and preventing wear. This keeps your engine running smoothly and prolongs its lifespan.

  • Regulates Oil Pressure

    • By maintaining the correct oil pressure, the pump ensures that oil reaches every part of the engine at the right time. This helps prevent engine damage caused by insufficient lubrication.

  • Aids in Engine Cooling

    • The oil pump also helps dissipate heat from the engine components by circulating oil through the engine. Proper cooling prevents overheating and protects the engine from damage.

  • Reduces Component Wear and Tear

    • A fully functioning oil pump ensures that all parts, including pistons, camshafts, and crankshafts, receive the lubrication they need to operate efficiently. This reduces wear and tear, extending the life of the engine.

  • Specifically Designed for Volvo D13 Engines

    • The OEM 20824906 oil pump is engineered for Volvo D13 engines, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance. This OEM part ensures reliability and durability in heavy-duty operations.

The Volvo D13 Engine Oil Pump (OEM 20824906) is crucial for maintaining engine health by ensuring proper lubrication, regulating oil pressure, and aiding in cooling. By keeping your oil pump in good condition, you can protect your engine from wear, overheating, and long-term damage. TamerX Diesel Parts offers high-quality OEM oil pumps to ensure your Volvo D13 engine runs smoothly and efficiently for years to come.

The oil pump is an essential component of your vehicle’s engine, responsible for circulating oil to keep all moving parts lubricated and functioning smoothly. When the oil pump goes bad, it can cause serious damage to your engine if not addressed quickly. In this blog, we’ll cover the key symptoms of a failing oil pump and how to recognize the signs before major engine damage occurs.

Symptoms of a Bad Oil Pump:

  • Low Oil Pressure

    • One of the most common signs of a failing oil pump is low oil pressure. If you notice the oil pressure warning light on your dashboard, it could indicate that the oil pump is struggling to circulate oil properly.

  • Engine Overheating

    • A malfunctioning oil pump can lead to insufficient oil flow, causing increased friction and heat within the engine. If your engine starts to overheat, it may be due to a failing oil pump that isn’t properly lubricating the engine components.

  • Unusual Engine Noises

    • A bad oil pump can cause various strange noises, such as knocking, ticking, or grinding. These noises occur because moving parts in the engine aren’t receiving adequate lubrication, leading to metal-on-metal contact.

  • Oil Warning Light

    •  The oil warning light is another clear indicator that your oil pump might be failing. If this light comes on, it’s important to check your oil level and get your vehicle inspected as soon as possible.

  • Increased Engine Wear

    •  Without proper oil circulation, parts of the engine can wear down faster. If you notice reduced engine performance or rough idling, it could be a sign that the oil pump is no longer functioning properly, causing accelerated wear.

  • Oil Pressure Gauge Fluctuations

    •  If your vehicle is equipped with an oil pressure gauge, you might notice sudden fluctuations in the oil pressure reading. This could indicate that the oil pump is not delivering a consistent flow of oil to the engine.

A failing oil pump can cause serious damage to your engine if left unchecked. Common symptoms include low oil pressure, overheating, unusual engine noises, and warning lights on your dashboard. If you notice any of these signs, it’s crucial to have your oil pump inspected and repaired as soon as possible to avoid costly engine damage. Regular maintenance and monitoring can help ensure your oil pump functions efficiently, keeping your engine running smoothly.
