We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

Injector cups play an essential role in the fuel system of Volvo D11, D12, and D13 engines, ensuring proper fuel injection and preventing coolant contamination. The OEM 85124276 injector cups are specifically designed for Volvo models from 2007-2010 and are crucial for maintaining the overall performance and longevity of your engine. In this blog, we’ll explore the function of injector cups and why keeping them in good condition is vital.

Functions of Volvo D11, D12, D13 Injector Cups (OEM 85124276):

  • Seals Injectors and Cylinder Head

    • Injector cups create a secure seal between the fuel injectors and the cylinder head, preventing fuel leaks and ensuring efficient combustion.

  • Prevents Fuel and Coolant Contamination

    • By sealing the injectors, the cups prevent coolant from leaking into the fuel system and fuel from leaking into the coolant system. This helps avoid engine issues such as misfires, poor fuel economy, and long-term engine damage.

  • Supports Proper Fuel Atomization

    • The injector cups ensure that the fuel injectors spray fuel into the combustion chamber correctly, allowing for optimal fuel atomization and efficient combustion, which leads to better engine performance.

  • Engine Durability

    • Using high-quality OEM injector cups like the 85124276 ensures that the cups can withstand the high temperatures and pressures within the engine, reducing the likelihood of failure and the need for costly repairs.

  • Designed for Volvo Engines

    • The OEM 85124276 injector cups are specifically engineered for Volvo D11, D12, and D13 engines, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance, contributing to smoother engine operation and longevity.

The Volvo D11, D12, D13 Injector Cups (OEM 85124276) are critical components for ensuring a properly functioning fuel system. By sealing the injectors and preventing contamination between fuel and coolant, these injector cups help maintain engine efficiency and reliability. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we provide high-quality OEM injector cups to keep your Volvo engine running smoothly and efficiently for years to come.

Injector cups are an important part of your vehicle’s fuel system, acting as a seal between the fuel injectors and the cylinder head. If these cups become faulty or damaged, it can lead to serious engine issues, including fuel contamination and poor performance. While it may be possible to drive with faulty injector cups, doing so can lead to long-term damage to your engine. In this blog, we’ll explore whether it’s safe to drive with faulty injector cups and the potential risks involved.

Risks of Driving with Faulty Injector Cups:

  • Fuel Contamination

    • Faulty injector cups can allow coolant or oil to mix with fuel, leading to contamination. This can reduce fuel quality, cause misfires, and damage other parts of the engine over time.

  • Engine Misfires

    • When injector cups fail, the seal between the injectors and the cylinder head weakens, which can result in inconsistent fuel delivery. This often leads to engine misfires, causing rough idling and reduced performance.

  • Loss of Power

    • As the injector cups degrade, your vehicle may lose power, particularly during acceleration. This is due to improper fuel flow, which affects the overall efficiency and performance of the engine.

  • Coolant Leaks

    •  In some cases, coolant may leak into the combustion chamber if the injector cups are damaged. This can cause the engine to overheat, leading to potential engine damage and expensive repairs if not addressed promptly.

  • Increased Exhaust Smoke

    •  A failing injector cup can result in an improper fuel mixture, leading to an increase in exhaust smoke. You may notice black, blue, or white smoke, depending on the severity of the problem.

While it’s technically possible to drive with faulty injector cups, it is not recommended due to the potential risks involved. Fuel contamination, engine misfires, and coolant leaks are just a few of the issues that can arise from faulty injector cups. If you notice any symptoms of injector cup failure, it’s crucial to have them inspected and repaired as soon as possible to prevent further engine damage and costly repairs. Addressing the problem early can help ensure your vehicle runs smoothly and efficiently.
