Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) sensor plays a crucial role in managing and reducing harmful emissions in modern diesel engines. The Volvo D11, D13 NOx Sensor (OEM 22303390) monitors the levels of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases, helping the engine’s emission system adjust for optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations. Keeping the NOx sensor in good working condition is key to maintaining engine efficiency and meeting emission standards.

Key Functions of the Volvo D11, D13 NOx Sensor

  • Monitors NOx Emissions
    • The sensor measures the levels of nitrogen oxide in the exhaust system, ensuring the vehicle meets strict emission regulations.
  • Improves Engine Efficiency
    •  By providing accurate readings, the NOx sensor helps the engine management system optimize fuel injection and combustion.
  • Supports Emission Control Systems
    • The data from the sensor is used to control and adjust the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems.
  • Prevents Check Engine Lights
    •  A properly functioning NOx sensor helps avoid issues such as triggering the check engine light due to emission problems.

Maintenance Tips for NOx Sensors

  • Inspect for Fault Codes
    •  If your vehicle’s diagnostic system reports a fault related to the NOx sensor, it’s essential to address it promptly.
  • Check for Exhaust Leaks
    • Exhaust leaks can affect the sensor’s ability to take accurate readings, so inspect the exhaust system regularly.
  • Replace When Faulty
    •  A malfunctioning NOx sensor can lead to higher emissions and reduced engine performance. Replacing it with the OEM 22303390 will restore accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain the Entire Emission System
    •  Ensure that other parts of the emission system, such as the EGR and SCR systems, are in good condition, as they work in conjunction with the NOx sensor.

The Volvo D11, D13 NOx Sensor (OEM 22303390) is an essential component for monitoring and reducing emissions, ensuring your engine remains compliant with regulations while optimizing performance. Regular inspection and timely replacement of the NOx sensor are key to maintaining engine efficiency and emission control. TamerX Diesel Parts provides high-quality NOx sensors and other components to keep your engine running smoothly and environmentally friendly.

A NOx sensor is critical for monitoring and controlling nitrogen oxide emissions in modern vehicles, helping to reduce environmental impact and meet emissions regulations. When a NOx sensor fails, it can lead to several problems affecting both your vehicle’s performance and its emissions output. Understanding the symptoms and consequences of a failed NOx sensor can help you address the issue early and avoid costly repairs.

Consequences of a Failed NOx Sensor:

  • Increased Emissions

    • A faulty NOx sensor can cause your vehicle to release higher levels of nitrogen oxide, which may lead to failing emissions tests and contribute to environmental pollution.

  • Reduced Fuel Efficiency

    • When the NOx sensor fails, the engine control unit (ECU) may struggle to adjust the air-fuel mixture properly, resulting in reduced fuel efficiency and higher fuel consumption.

  • Engine Warning Light

    •  A malfunctioning NOx sensor often triggers the check engine light. This is an indicator that something is wrong with the emissions control system, and the vehicle’s diagnostic system has detected an issue.

  • Poor Engine Performance

    • A failed NOx sensor can cause the engine to enter “limp mode,” which reduces engine power to protect other components. This can lead to sluggish acceleration and overall poor performance.

  • Increased Maintenance Costs

    •  Ignoring a faulty NOx sensor can lead to more significant damage to the exhaust system or other engine components, resulting in expensive repairs if the issue is not addressed promptly.

A failed NOx sensor can result in increased emissions, reduced fuel efficiency, poor engine performance, and higher maintenance costs. Addressing the issue early by replacing the faulty sensor will not only improve your vehicle’s performance but also help you stay compliant with emissions regulations. Regular maintenance and attention to warning signs can keep your vehicle running smoothly and efficiently.
