We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The NOx sensor plays a critical role in reducing harmful nitrogen oxide emissions, helping your Paccar MX13 engine stay compliant with environmental regulations. This sensor monitors the levels of NOx in the exhaust gases and sends data to the engine control module (ECM) to adjust the emission control systems accordingly. Replacing a malfunctioning NOx sensor with the OEM 2006246PE ensures your engine operates efficiently and remains environmentally friendly.

Key Functions of the Paccar MX13 NOx Sensor

  • Monitors NOx Emissions
    • The sensor detects the levels of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust and sends this data to the engine control module for adjustments.
  • Improves Fuel Efficiency
    • By accurately monitoring and controlling emissions, the NOx sensor helps improve fuel efficiency and overall engine performance.
  • Ensures Emission Compliance
    •  It ensures that the engine meets strict emission standards, helping avoid fines and penalties for excessive emissions.
  • Reduces Engine Wear
    • The proper functioning of the NOx sensor can prevent unnecessary strain on engine components by keeping emissions within acceptable limits.

Maintenance Tips for the NOx Sensor

  • Inspect Regularly
    •  Check the NOx sensor periodically to ensure it's free from damage and functioning correctly.
  • Replace When Necessary
    • A faulty NOx sensor can cause emission control issues, so replacing it with the OEM 2006246PE is essential for maintaining engine health.
  • Monitor Warning Lights
    •  If the check engine light comes on or the engine starts running less efficiently, it could indicate a NOx sensor issue.
  • Ensure Proper Installation
    • When replacing the sensor, make sure it is installed correctly to avoid false readings and potential engine issues.

The Paccar MX13 NOx Sensor (2013-2021) is a crucial component in maintaining efficient engine operation and reducing harmful emissions. Regular maintenance and timely replacement with the OEM 2006246PE will ensure that your engine runs smoothly while staying compliant with emission standards. Trust TamerX Diesel Parts for all your sensor and emission control part needs to keep your engine in top condition.

A NOx sensor monitors and regulates nitrogen oxide emissions, which helps ensure your vehicle complies with environmental standards. When a NOx sensor fails, it can lead to several issues affecting both engine performance and emissions control. Understanding the symptoms of a bad NOx sensor can help you identify problems early and avoid costly repairs.

  • Check Engine Light

    • One of the most noticeable signs of a failing NOx sensor is the check engine light illuminating. The vehicle’s diagnostic system detects irregularities in emissions and alerts you to the problem.

  • Increased Emissions

    • A malfunctioning NOx sensor can result in higher-than-normal nitrogen oxide emissions. This can cause your vehicle to fail emissions tests and lead to environmental pollution.

  • Poor Fuel Efficiency

    • When the NOx sensor isn't functioning correctly, it may affect the engine’s air-fuel ratio, leading to poor fuel efficiency. You may notice that your vehicle consumes more fuel than usual.

  • Engine Performance Issues

    • A bad NOx sensor can cause rough idling, poor acceleration, and even engine misfires. These symptoms result from improper air-fuel mixture regulation due to incorrect sensor readings.

  • Limp Mode

    •  In some cases, the vehicle may enter limp mode as a protective measure. This reduces engine power to prevent further damage and ensure that the emissions system isn’t compromised.

A bad NOx sensor can cause the check engine light to come on, increase emissions, reduce fuel efficiency, and lead to engine performance issues. If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s essential to have your NOx sensor inspected and replaced as necessary. Addressing NOx sensor problems early can help maintain optimal vehicle performance and keep your emissions in check. Regular diagnostics and timely repairs will ensure your vehicle remains compliant with emissions regulations.
