SHIPPING POLICY

Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Ford Powerstroke 6.0L engine is known for its durability, but to maintain peak performance, the engine crossover line plays a vital role in ensuring fuel flow consistency. The OEM SK60-1 (Kit) is designed specifically for the 2003-2010 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L models to optimize fuel distribution between the engine’s cylinder heads, reducing fuel pressure fluctuations and improving overall engine reliability.

The Importance of the Engine Crossover Line

The crossover line is a critical component in diesel engines like the Powerstroke 6.0L. It helps balance fuel pressure between both banks of injectors, ensuring each cylinder gets the fuel it needs for consistent and efficient combustion. Over time, the factory-installed crossover lines may degrade, leading to inconsistent fuel pressure and potentially causing issues with performance and engine reliability.

Maintenance Tips for the Ford Powerstroke 6.0L Engine Crossover Line

To ensure your Powerstroke 6.0L engine operates smoothly, it’s essential to maintain the crossover line and related components:

  • Regularly Inspect the Fuel System
    • Check for any signs of fuel leaks or pressure drops, especially around the crossover line.
  • Replace Old Components
    •  Over time, fuel lines and seals can degrade. Replacing them with the OEM SK60-1 kit helps maintain optimal engine performance.
  • Monitor Injector Health
    • Consistent fuel pressure helps protect injectors, so keep an eye on injector performance and replace them if needed.

The Ford Powerstroke 6.0L Engine Crossover Line (OEM SK60-1 Kit) is a crucial component for maintaining balanced fuel pressure and ensuring long-lasting engine performance. Whether you're looking to improve fuel efficiency or reduce injector wear, this kit provides the reliability and durability your engine needs. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we offer high-quality OEM parts designed to keep your Ford Powerstroke running smoothly for years to come.

The engine crossover line plays an essential role in maintaining proper fuel or coolant flow between different parts of your engine. When this line fails, it can lead to various engine performance issues or even serious damage. In this blog, we’ll explore the most common causes of engine crossover line failure and why it’s important to address this issue quickly.

  • Wear and Tear Over Time

    • Like all engine components, crossover lines are subject to wear and tear. Constant exposure to high temperatures, pressure, and vibrations can cause these lines to deteriorate over time, leading to cracks or leaks.

  • Corrosion

    • Crossover lines made of metal can be vulnerable to corrosion, especially if the vehicle operates in harsh environments with moisture or road salts. Corrosion weakens the material and can lead to line failure.

  • Improper Installation

    • If the crossover line isn’t installed correctly, it may not be able to handle the pressure and flow demands of the engine. Incorrect fittings, improper torque, or misalignment can cause premature failure.

  • Contaminated Fluids

    • Dirt, debris, or other contaminants in the engine’s fuel or coolant can accumulate in the crossover line, clogging it and causing excessive pressure buildup. This can lead to line rupture or damage over time.

  • Extreme Temperature Fluctuations

    • The crossover line is exposed to constant heating and cooling cycles, especially in high-performance engines. Extreme temperature fluctuations can cause the line material to become brittle and crack, leading to failure.

  • Pressure Build-up

    • A malfunction in the engine’s fuel or cooling system can cause excessive pressure in the crossover line, resulting in leaks or even complete failure of the line if it cannot handle the increased pressure.

  • Physical Damage

    • External factors, such as impact from debris or engine vibrations, can damage the crossover line. Even minor dents or cracks can lead to leaks or compromised flow, ultimately causing failure.

Engine crossover line failure can result from a variety of causes, including wear and tear, corrosion, improper installation, and pressure build-up. Regular maintenance and inspection can help prevent these issues, ensuring your engine runs smoothly and efficiently. If you notice any signs of a failing crossover line—such as fluid leaks or poor engine performance—it’s important to address the issue promptly to avoid costly repairs. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we provide high-quality engine components to keep your vehicle operating at its best. Don’t wait for a failure—take action to maintain your engine’s integrity.
