The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

Maintaining the fuel system in your Ford Powerstroke 7.3L engine is crucial for its longevity and performance. One of the essential components to check and replace regularly is the fuel injector seal. The OEM F8TZ-9229-AA Fuel Injector Seal Kit is designed specifically for the 1994-2004 models and ensures a tight, leak-proof seal to keep your engine running smoothly.

The Importance of Fuel Injector Seals in Your Powerstroke

Fuel injector seals play a vital role in maintaining engine efficiency and preventing fuel and oil leaks. Here's why they are essential:

  • Prevents Leaks
    •  The injector seals create a tight fit between the fuel injectors and the cylinder head, preventing fuel or oil from leaking, which could cause significant engine issues.
  • Ensures Proper Combustion
    •  Leaky seals can result in air entering the fuel system, which affects combustion and reduces engine efficiency.
  • Protects Against Engine Damage
    •  Faulty seals can cause oil dilution and other fuel system contamination, leading to long-term engine damage.

Maintaining Your Ford Powerstroke 7.3L Injectors with OEM Seals

To ensure your engine runs at its best, replacing the fuel injector seals with the OEM F8TZ-9229-AA kit is a smart investment. Here's how you can keep your injectors in top shape:

  • Inspect Regularly
    •  Periodically check your injectors and seals for any signs of wear or leaks.
  • Use OEM Parts
    •  Always use original parts like the OEM F8TZ-9229-AA kit for a reliable and secure fit, preventing potential issues caused by inferior components.
  • Prompt Replacement
    •  At the first sign of a leak or engine issue related to the injectors, replace the seals to prevent further damage.

The Ford Powerstroke 7.3L Fuel Injector Seal Kit (1994-2004): OEM F8TZ-9229-AA is a crucial component for maintaining engine health and efficiency. Replacing worn-out seals promptly can prevent fuel leaks, improve engine performance, and protect against long-term damage. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we provide high-quality, OEM parts to keep your Powerstroke engine running at its best.

Fuel injector seals are small but critical components that ensure a tight, leak-proof connection between the fuel injector and the engine. When these seals fail, it can lead to fuel leaks, engine performance issues, and potential damage. In this blog, we’ll explore the common causes of fuel injector seal failure and why it's important to address this issue promptly.

  • Heat and Thermal Cycling:

    • Constant exposure to high engine temperatures and frequent heating and cooling cycles can cause the injector seals to become brittle and lose their elasticity over time. This leads to cracking and eventual failure.

  • Wear and Tear

    • Like all rubber components, fuel injector seals wear down with age and use. The natural deterioration of the material can result in a poor seal, leading to leaks and fuel delivery problems.

  • Improper Installation

    •  Installing fuel injectors with too much force or improper alignment can damage the seals. Over-tightening or using the wrong tools can compress or tear the seals, reducing their effectiveness.

  • Fuel Contamination

    • Contaminants in the fuel, such as dirt or debris, can erode or damage the seals. This can lead to fuel leaks and poor injector performance, as well as compromised sealing integrity.

  • Use of Low-Quality Seals

    • Poor-quality injector seals made from subpar materials are more prone to premature failure. Using high-quality, OEM-standard seals is essential for long-lasting performance.

  • Vibration and Engine Movement

    •  Constant engine vibration can put stress on the injector seals. Over time, this stress can cause the seals to loosen, crack, or degrade, resulting in leaks and engine performance issues.

  • High Fuel Pressure

    • Excessive fuel pressure can strain the seals, causing them to fail prematurely. Maintaining the proper fuel pressure is essential to extending the life of the injector seals.

Fuel injector seals can fail due to factors like heat exposure, wear and tear, improper installation, and fuel contamination. Recognizing the early signs of injector seal failure, such as fuel leaks or rough engine performance, can help prevent further engine damage. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we offer high-quality fuel injector seals and components to ensure your engine runs smoothly and efficiently. Keep an eye on your seals and replace them as part of regular engine maintenance to avoid costly repairs.
