The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve is an essential component for reducing harmful emissions in diesel engines. The Isuzu 4HK1 EGR Valve, OEM 8981343232, ensures that your engine operates within emission standards by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the intake manifold. This process lowers nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and helps keep the engine running smoothly. Replacing a faulty EGR valve can prevent engine issues such as overheating and reduced fuel efficiency.

Features of the Isuzu 4HK1 EGR Valve OEM 8981343232

  • Emission Control
    •  The EGR valve reduces harmful NOx emissions by recirculating exhaust gases, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • OEM Quality
    • As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part, the valve is designed to meet Isuzu’s strict quality standards, ensuring reliability and a perfect fit.
  • Prevents Engine Overheating
    • By managing exhaust gas flow, the EGR valve helps maintain the proper combustion temperature, preventing potential overheating.
  • Improves Fuel Efficiency
    •  Properly functioning EGR valves can help optimize fuel efficiency by ensuring the engine runs at the ideal temperature.
  • Durable Construction
    • Built to withstand harsh conditions, this OEM valve ensures long-lasting performance, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Why Choose the OEM 8981343232 EGR Valve for Your Isuzu 4HK1 Engine?

Choosing the right EGR valve is essential for maintaining both engine performance and emission compliance. The OEM 8981343232 EGR valve ensures your engine runs efficiently, reducing harmful emissions while preventing potential engine issues such as overheating or poor fuel economy. With its durability and quality, this OEM part is designed to provide long-term reliability.

For those looking to maintain their Isuzu 4HK1 engine from 2010 to 2018, investing in the OEM 8981343232 EGR valve is a smart choice to ensure optimal engine performance and compliance with emission standards.

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve plays a key role in controlling your vehicle’s emissions by recirculating a portion of exhaust gases back into the engine. When the EGR valve malfunctions, it can cause several performance issues that affect both the engine and the environment. While it may be possible to drive with a bad EGR valve, it can lead to more serious problems if not addressed promptly.

  • Decreased Engine Performance

    • A faulty EGR valve can cause a noticeable decrease in engine power and acceleration, making it difficult to drive, especially during heavy loads or uphill driving.

  • Rough Idling or Stalling

    • If the EGR valve is stuck open or closed, it can cause rough idling, engine stalling, or hesitation while driving, leading to an unpredictable and uncomfortable driving experience.

  • Increased Emissions

    • One of the main functions of the EGR valve is to reduce harmful emissions. A malfunctioning valve can cause your vehicle to release more nitrogen oxide (NOx), which can result in failing an emissions test.

  • Check Engine Light

    • A bad EGR valve can trigger the Check Engine Light, indicating that there’s an issue with the emissions system. Ignoring this warning can lead to more serious engine problems.

  • Potential Engine Damage

    • Driving with a bad EGR valve for an extended period can cause carbon buildup in the engine, leading to higher engine temperatures and potential damage to the intake valves or exhaust system.

While it’s possible to drive with a bad EGR valve, doing so can lead to decreased engine performance, rough idling, increased emissions, and potential engine damage. If your Check Engine Light comes on or you notice any of these symptoms, it’s important to have your EGR valve inspected and repaired by a professional mechanic. Addressing the issue early can prevent further engine damage, improve fuel efficiency, and ensure your vehicle continues to meet emissions standards. Regular maintenance of the EGR system can also help avoid these problems in the future.
