Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

Maintaining the cooling system of your Detroit 60 Series engine is critical to preventing overheating and ensuring long-term engine health. One of the key components in this system is the coolant hose, which directs coolant to and from the engine to regulate its temperature. The Detroit 60 Series Coolant Hose 1996-2007: OEM 23506325 is specifically designed to withstand the demands of heavy-duty engines, making it essential for keeping your engine cool and operating efficiently.

Common Causes of Coolant Hose Failure and How to Avoid Them

  • Aging and Wear

    • Over time, coolant hoses can degrade due to constant exposure to high temperatures and pressure. Cracks, leaks, or bulges are signs that the hose is failing. Regular inspections and timely replacement with the OEM 23506325 can prevent sudden hose failure and overheating.

  • Contaminants in Coolant

    • Contaminants in the coolant, such as rust or debris, can wear down the inner lining of the hose, leading to leaks. Using clean, high-quality coolant and regularly flushing the cooling system can protect the OEM 23506325 hose from premature degradation.

  • Improper Installation

    • Incorrectly installed hoses can lead to kinks or bends that restrict coolant flow, causing the engine to overheat. The OEM 23506325 is designed for a precise fit, ensuring proper installation and optimal coolant flow.

  • High Operating Temperatures

    •  Excessive engine temperatures can cause even the best coolant hoses to fail. Ensuring that your engine’s cooling system is functioning properly, including the radiator and thermostat, can help the OEM 23506325 hose perform at its best.

Why Choose OEM 23506325 for Your Detroit 60 Series Engine?

The Detroit 60 Series Coolant Hose OEM 23506325 is engineered for durability and reliability, providing a secure and efficient coolant pathway for your engine. The Detroit 60 Series Coolant Hose 1996-2007: OEM 23506325 plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal engine temperature by ensuring a consistent flow of coolant. Regular inspections, proper maintenance, and timely replacement of this hose can keep your engine running smoothly and efficiently. Invest in the OEM 23506325 coolant hose to protect your engine from overheating and ensure reliable performance.

Coolant hoses play a crucial role in your vehicle’s cooling system, transporting coolant between the engine, radiator, and other components to regulate temperature and prevent overheating. Over time, these hoses can wear out or become damaged, leading to leaks and potential engine issues. Knowing the signs that a coolant hose needs to be replaced can help you avoid costly repairs and keep your engine running smoothly. In this blog, we’ll discuss how to recognize when it’s time to replace a coolant hose.

  • Visible Cracks or Splits

    • One of the most obvious signs that a coolant hose needs replacement is the presence of visible cracks, splits, or fraying on the hose’s surface. These indicate that the hose material is deteriorating and may soon fail.

  • Swelling or Bulging

    •  If you notice that a section of the coolant hose appears swollen or bulging, it’s a sign that the hose is weakening and may burst under pressure. This is often caused by exposure to extreme heat or chemicals in the coolant.

  • Leaks or Drips

    • Coolant leaks or drips around the hose connections or along the hose itself are clear indicators that the hose is compromised. You might also notice puddles of coolant under your vehicle, which is a strong sign that a hose is leaking.

  • Soft or Spongy Texture

    • When you squeeze the coolant hose, it should feel firm but flexible. If the hose feels unusually soft or spongy, it’s likely that the material has degraded and is no longer capable of withstanding the coolant pressure, requiring replacement.

  • Coolant Odor

    • A sweet, pungent odor around your vehicle, especially near the engine bay, could indicate a coolant leak. If the smell is persistent, it’s worth checking the hoses for signs of damage or leakage.

  • Overheating Engine

    • If your engine is overheating, it could be due to a failing coolant hose that’s restricting coolant flow. While there are many potential causes of overheating, inspecting the coolant hoses is a good place to start.

Recognizing the signs that a coolant hose needs to be replaced is essential for maintaining your vehicle’s cooling system and preventing engine damage. By regularly inspecting your hoses for visible cracks, swelling, leaks, or a soft texture, you can catch problems early and replace the hoses before they fail. Proactive maintenance will help ensure your engine stays cool and operates efficiently, avoiding the risk of costly repairs and keeping your vehicle running smoothly.
